Chrissy Teigen has not established the Twitter following she has to date by holding back on her opinions - that much is indisputable.
Jousts with trolls, her critics and even Donald Trump have become an almost everyday occurrence and Teigen tackles issues head-on, whether it be Planned Parenthood or body-shaming.
Which makes her take on Taylor Swift’s riposte to Kanye West more restrained than you might expect, even if she was one of the few to speak without overtly coming down on the singer’s side.
The Sports Illustrated model and her husband John Legend are friends with both and were at the Grammys when the singer responded to lyrics from West suggesting he made her famous.
While appearing on Watch What Happens Live, Teigen was asked by host Andy Cohen what she thought about Swift’s speech.
“It's tough when you're put in the middle like that,” Teigen replied while grimacing. “I didn't get to see it live, but I don't know. It’s so awkward. It's an uncomfortable moment. It's weird. John and I were very uncomfortable by it.”
She also insisted the detente Swift and West appear to have arrived at is merely a lull in their protracted feud.
“It’s not over,“ she told Cohen. "This is going to go on. This is being waged.”
