Chrissy Teigen responds to allegations she stole cookbook recipes from another chef

Chrissy Teigen is having an extremely eventful time in self-isolation.

First, there was her row with The New York Times recipe creator Alison Roman. And now, people on Twitter are accusing her of stealing the mysterious Chef Mike's recipes for her wildly popular cookbooks.

After the former Sports Illustrated swimsuit model and Cravings author wrote back to Roman on Twitter, a user accused Teigen of plagiarizing recipes.

They wrote, "You can’t cook or not copy someone’s idea from their cookbook...Chef Mike saw your s**t and might file a suit! I just saw you review and he called me!" among other things.

Teigen swiftly responded that not only does she not steal recipes, but she also does not know who Chef Mike is.

Apparently, he's a chef in New York - but unclear where, exactly.

Teigen asked to speak to the mysterious chef and explained that she always gives credit where it's due. And it's true, she frequently supports her favorite New York City restaurants, including celebrity hot spots Carbone and Bubby's.

This isn't her only social media news today - she also announced that she bought son Miles a bearded dragon for his birthday and asked Nicole Richie for advice on the family's new pet, as the former Simple Life star is the proud owner of one as well.
