Chris Wilder's hilarious response to Frank Lampard link with replacing Maurizio Sarri at Chelsea

The future of Maurizio Sarri at Chelsea is one of the big topics of discussion ahead of the Europa League final against Arsenal on Wednesday.

The Italian has been linked with the vacancy at Juventus and there has been plenty of speculation linking Derby County boss Frank Lampard with the job in west London, prior to the Championship play-off final at Wembley this afternoon (Monday).

Lampard was again asked about his future after Derby lost out against Aston Villa at Wembley, while Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder was also asked about whether he felt the Chelsea legend was ready for the job at Stamford Bridge.

And Wilder, who was a guest on Sky Sports' coverage of the Championship play-off final, offered a great response to the question.

After former Chelsea midfielder Scott Minto asked him whether ii wast too early for Lampard to take on the Chelsea job, Wilder said he was not going to get involved in that.

That prompted Minto to ask him: "Is that because you want the Chelsea job?"

And in reply, the Blades boss said: "I'd do well to hang on to mine!"

Wilder has guided Sheffield United to a second promotion in three years, with the Blades gaining automatic promotion from the Championship along with champions Norwich City.

As such, the former Northampton Town boss is now preparing for his first taste of management in the Premier League.
