Chris Weidman predicts Dominick Reyes knockout over Jon Jones at UFC 247

Chris Weidman knows a thing or two about massive upsets, and he’s predicting one for the ages at UFC 247.

UFC 247 is headlined by light heavyweight champion Jon Jones defending his title against undefeated Dominick Reyes.

And Weidman, who was TKO’d by Reyes last October, thinks the challenger will shock the world Saturday night in Houston.

“I got Reyes winning by KO,” Weidman tweeted on Thursday.

Weidman owns arguably the biggest upset in UFC history, when he dethroned then middleweight champion Anderson Silva by knocking him out in the second round at UFC 162. Weidman went on to also win the rematch via doctor stoppage TKO after a freak accident resulted in Silva suffering a broken leg.

If anyone can picture the unlikely occurrence happening, it’s Weidman, who doesn’t think Jones is invincible.

“Delusional? Can I not have a opinion?” Weidman tweeted in response to a follower criticizing his pick. “Do you think Jones is unbeatable? That would be delusion.”

He added, “Anderson was the GOAT at one point too. He got KOed. Not far fetched.”
