Chris Thompson awaits MRI results while Deshazor Everett will continue to miss time

Interim head coach Bill Callahan offered some injury updates on Monday afternoon following the Redskins practice, noting that safety Deshazor Everett is likely to be held out of action for a couple of weeks as he deals with an ankle injury on his right foot. Everett was healthy earlier in the season but went down with an injury earlier this month.

More notably, running back Chris Thompson suffered a foot injury in Washington’s win over Miami, but the severity is yet to be determined while the team waits for results from an MRI to come back. Thompson had just 20 total yards before leaving the game with an injury on Sunday.
