Chris Tarrant’s children let slip that they used to cheat at a local pub’s Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? quiz machine.
Toby Tarrant – the son of 73-year-old original Millionaire host Chris – has dropped his older sisters in hot water by admitting they used to cheat down the local pub to bank some easy money.
The 28-year-old radio host explained that the family home had a Millionaire-themed machine in their family home, and it wasn’t long before the siblings had all the answers memorised.
Things turned profitable when the local pub installed the same quiz machine, with the young women easily hitting jackpots with their memorised answers.

“We played so much we knew all the questions,” Toby told Blethered podcast.
“My sisters would go to the pub near us, put in a quid and take out a tenner every time,” he said.
“They never told anyone they were my Dad’s daughters and that they had the machine in their front room,” he added.
Toby went on to claim his sisters effectively drank for free for the next 18 months as they ‘won’ the money every time they played.
However, their luck ran out when the pub changed the questions on the machine – bringing the operation to an end.
Chris is father to three daughters, Sammy, Helen and Jennifer, as well as his one son.

Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? is back in vogue, with new seasons of the show hosted by Jeremy Clarkson airing on ITV, while a three part drama about the infamous Charles Ingram cheating scandal is set to air next week.
Michael Sheen will play show host Chris in the ITV drama titled Quiz while Matthew MacFadyen will play Major Ingram.
The Major Charles Ingram scandal erupted in 2001 when Charles appeared as a contestant on the show and won the £1 million jackpot.
However he was accused of cheating his way to the jackpot as producers noticed tactically timed coughs coming from the audience when Charles deliberated on his answers.
Quiz is set to air on ITV on Monday 13 April at 9pm.
