Chris Sutton has fired back at a Derby County fan furious at the prospect of his side giving Leeds United a guard of honour.
With the Whites champions, convention says that they should receive a guard of honour in their next game - away to Derby on Sunday.
Yet Rams fan Joe phoned into Five Live, dismayed at the prospect of his side paying tributes to the Whites.
Labelling Leeds dishonourable, he said Marcelo Bielsa's men did not deserve a guard of honour.
He said: "There's a suggestion that we should give Leeds United a guard of honour onto the pitch.
"Personally, I think why do you give a guard of honour to the most dishonourable team in the entirety of football?
"Leeds aren't an honourable team.
"They're Spygate, they turn up to Pride Park and dish out abuse.
"Leeds aren't an honourable club, they don't deserve a guard of honour.
"They're a disgrace."
Yet Chris Sutton was unimpressed at Joe's argument.
Labelling the Rams fan jealous, he said there was no reason not to give the Whites a guard of honour.
He said: "I think you're just jealous, Joe.
"Do the right thing, come on.
"That's all in the past, let's talk about Leeds this season, they've been the outstanding side in the division.
"They've played some fantastic football, it's no big deal for the players to give a guard of honour."
Sutton added: "You're better than that, Joe."
