Chris Sutton rips Rangers to shreds as Celtic hero makes 'wheels are off' jibe to silence Robbie Savage

Celtic legend Chris Sutton has told Rangers to get a move on and unveil their alleged SPFL bombshell.

The Ibrox side have had the league body in their cross hairs since the season-ending vote below the Premiership and called on chief executive Neil Doncaster to be suspended.

Rangers' wish for an EGM for May 12 was granted but the Ibrox side's managing director Stewart Robertson revealed on Friday they will share their dossier this week.

But Sutton is less than convinced and claims Steven Gerrard's side are making a commotion to distract from their wretched run of form before football was placed in lockdown.

The Record Sport columnist, speaking on BBC's 606, said: "Do you know what? It's just hard to make hard or tail of what is going on up there.

"Statements galore, the last however long, Rangers are unhappy with the SPFL, they say they have this dossier of evidence.

"They've had this dossier of evidence for weeks, well get it out.

"What is happening is Rangers are trying to deflect, they have been woeful since the turn of the year.

"The wheels are off, they're trying to get everybody else to look the other way, Celtic are the dominant team, they'll carry on being the dominant team. The wheels are off at Ibrox and they are trying to deflect.

"C'mon, let's say it as it is."

And host Alastair Bruce-Ball then urged Robbie Savage, who enjoys fighting the Ibrox side's corner, to contribute but the former Leicester man was quick to change the subject.
