Chris Sutton responds to bold Rangers Champions League glory prediction with on air 'naked run' vow

Confident Chris Sutton insists he would run around Norwich naked if Rangers lift the Champions League next season.

The Celtic legend was fielding questions on BBC 5 Live's 606 programme following Steven Gerrard's side unbeaten Premiership season and trophy day celebrations.

However, Sutton and co-host Robbie Savage couldn't believe the claims of one caller from Wales who issued some bold predictions he had seen in his 'downsing rods'.

The caller boldly claimed that he had foreseen that Ryan Mason, who has been in temporary charge at Tottenham, would go on to be the most successful manager ever at the North London club.

He then turned his attention to Ibrox, claiming that "Steven Gerrard has a job to do at Rangers and will win the UEFA Champions League next season."

Stunned Sutton responded" “Wow. That air in Wales is amazing.

“If Ryan Mason is the best Spurs manager of all time and Steven Gerrard wins the Champions League with Rangers I will eat numerous hats.

“I will run around Norwich naked. It’s just not going to happen.”

Gerrard's men will be looking to reach the group stage of the Champions League as they enter at the play-off stage of the competition.
