Chris Sutton has reacted to Brendan Rodgers' latest comments regarding Celtic transfers.
The Parkhead boss spoke to the media at Lennoxtown this afternoon ahead of his side's return to competitive action on Sunday.
He addressed a vast array of topics, ranging from his future to Hayato Inamura. One key point raised was transfers.

Indeed, Rodgers conceded that the club still have work to do in the market.
He said: "We’ve still got a wee bit of work to do. I think that it’s a huge credit to the guys who are here and how well they’ve worked. But the squad will hopefully look different again come the end of the window.
"We know the work that we need to do, and it’s my responsibility to convince the club that we really need them. I’m not doing that job as well as maybe what I can, but I will continue to pursue that because it’s something that’s important for us."
Sutton has since reacted to Rodgers' comments on X. He said: "Brendan Rodgers very strong today on the lack of activity so far from Celtic in the transfer market.
"Still time, of course, but easing into the season isn’t ideal. Only need to look at last season and the importance of a ferocious start."
Celtic welcome St Mirren to Parkhead for their first league fixture of the new season this Sunday.
