Chris Sutton says Celtic forward Daizen Maeda is irreplaceable ahead of the summer transfer window.
Maeda, who scored seven goals in his side's final five league games of the season, has one year remaining on his Parkhead contract.
The Japanese attacker has consistently stated his desire to test his abilities at a higher level, and Sutton reckons that if Maeda does move on to pastures new this summer, Celtic will struggle to replace his skillset.
"I think it's an interesting one. Could he play in the Premier League? Absolutely," Sutton said on The Warm-Up.
"Look, everybody knows what he is and what his characteristics are. So in terms of out of possession, there's nobody better than him.

"He had certainly a moment in the game yesterday [Saturday] on the left-hand side where he has an opportunity to put a good ball in. And that's the frustration, but his undoubted finishing ability at the end of the season has been the key for Celtic.
"He is pretty much irreplaceable. From what he does, it's incredible.
"You've seen some greats that have left the football club, maybe not at their level, but for example, if a goalscorer leaves, you can bring in a goalscorer, but you're not bringing somebody in that does what Daizen Maeda can do."
Saturday's Scottish Gas Men's Scottish Cup final against Dunfermline Athletic could be Maeda's final appearance for Celtic.
