Chris Sutton makes Rangers quarantine quip as 'self isolation game' throws up unlikely match

"Chris Sutton and Rangers locked in a room" sounds like the start of a bad joke, in all honesty.

The Celtic legend was up to his Twitter tricks on Saturday night as the Scottish football shutdown takes hold.

There'll be no football played at any level for an indefinite period as the coronavirus pandemic sweeps across the globe.

As people everywhere self-isolate, it begs the question - who would you prefer to end up quarantined with?

Sutton got involved in the fun and it threw up an unlikely "match".

The premise is simple, type @ in the Tweet box and the fifth account which pops up is your self-isolation partner.

In Sutton 's case, of course there was only one account he'd be paired with.

"I got @RangersFC..." he wrote to his 216,000 followers.

Whether this was really the case, only he knows but, as per, his contribution caused a social media stir.
