Former Celtic striker Chris Sutton has slammed the club's 'remarkable' end to the summer transfer window, claiming they came out of it weaker.
The Bhoys sold Adam Idah on deadline day, and despite Brendan Rodgers' saying he won't be allowed to leave until they sign a striker, no replacement is currently in the building.
In addition, Yang Hyun-jun's reported £3million move to Birmingham City fell through at the last minute, and thus, Celtic had to pull the plug on a loan deal for Manuel Benson.

They did bring in Sebastian Tounekti for £5.2million, although they remain light in the forward line.
Taking to X this morning, Sutton hit out at his old team's business: "The most remarkable window of all time," he said. "Celtic have come out of it weaker.
"At least Celtic are doing everything they can for there to be a title race this season... Going into a season with great expectation and excitement after a few weeks the feeling now is utter deflation."

Although the window is now shut, the club could still sign Kelechi Iheanacho.
He became a free agent late last night after Sevilla terminated his contract.
Celtic have until 11pm this evening to register their squad for the league phase of the Europa League.
