Chris Sutton in ultimate Celtic stitch-up as he trolls Rangers hero Ally McCoist with cheeky Treble celebration jibe

Former Celtic players and fans alike are enjoying their moment after securing a historic quadruple Treble with their latest Scottish Cup Final triumph.

Ex-Hoops striker turned pundit Chris Sutton is no different as he revelled in the moment - and couldn't resist a pop at former Rangers icon Ally McCoist.

Viewers have become accustomed to regular back-and-forth exchanges between Sutton  and McCoist and it was no different after the shoot-out win over Hearts.

Having both been covering the game for Premier Sports, Sutton shared a snap alongside the Ibrox hero and host Darrell Currie after the full-time whistle.

He added: "A treble celebrating a treble...We were all absolutely delighted for Celtic."

However, Sutton admits Robbie Neilson's men didn't deserve to leave Hampden empty handed after an impressive fight-back, adding: "Well done to Neil Lennon on an historic treble.

"Well done to Hearts they didn’t deserve to lose."

The Jambos came back from 2-0 and 3-2 down to force the match to penalties and had the advantage in the shoot-out.

But Craig Wighton and Stephen Kingsley missed from 12 yards to hand the trophy to Celtic.
