Chris Sutton in cheeky Rangers safety message as ex-Celtic striker parodies Gers legends videos

Chris Sutton has sent a cheeky safety message of his own to all the Rangers fans in Seville.

100,000 are expected in the Spanish city for their Europa League final against Eintracht Frankfurt on Wednesday.

The Ibrox club have been sharing messages from club legends such as Graeme Souness, Ian Durrant and Richard Gough recently, urging fans to enjoy themselves but also behave at the same time.

The message to the Gers faithful has been: “Remember who you’re representing.”

And the former Celtic striker couldn’t resist recording his own, tongue-in-cheek video message and made sure he wore the Hoops on camera.

He pleaded: “Hello to all the Rangers fans out there in Seville. I’m just following on from the messages from Graeme Souness, Ian Durrant and Richard Gough. Please just behave in Seville and try not to let yourselves down.

“Okay, do the right thing guys…be good, behave and don't do anything naughty out there, okay?!”

Sutton of course knows all about European finals in Seville.

The former Chelsea front man was part of the Celtic side that reached the UEFA Cup final in 2003, going down 3-2 after extra-time to Jose Mourinho’s Porto.
