
Get your glass of Tennessee whiskey ready, country music fans, because Chris Stapleton is heading out on tour.
The acclaimed country star is taking his music on the road, beginning with a show in Corpus Christie, Texas, on March 11. The road trek includes Stapleton’s headlining debut at Wrigley Field on Aug.29, with special guests The Highwomen, Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit and The Dirty Knobs with Mike Campbell. Stapleton previous played Wrigley as an opener for Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers in 2017.
Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Feb. 7 at livenation.com.

Concerts previously announced for Wrigley Field this summer include Maroon 5 (June 13), Green Day, Fall Out Boy and Weezer (Aug. 13), Def Leppard & Mötley Crüe (Aug. 28) and Zac Brown Band (Sept. 12). Tickets for these shows are available at https://www.mlb.com/cubs/tickets/concerts.
Stapleton will be joined at certain stops by Willie Nelson, Sheryl Crow and The Highwomen. Main support on the bill comes from South Carolina rock ‘n’ roll upstart Marcus King and British breakout Yola, while other show dates feature Dwight Yoakam, Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, and Margo Price.
Stapleton, a five-time Grammy Award-winning artist known in-part for his dominant solo debut “Traveller,” released his latest album, “From A Room: Volume 2,” in December 2017.
