Chris Ramsey's Newcastle Tyne Theatre stand up show heading to Amazon Prime Video

A Chris Ramsey stand-up special recorded live in Newcastle will be available to stream on Amazon Prime Video.

Approval Needed was filmed at Tyne Theatre in June and will soon be available to Prime customers in 200 countries and territories around the world.

Amazon will release Approval Needed on its Prime Video service on August 19.

The news adds to an exciting month for the South Shields comedian and Hebburn star , who has confirmed he will compete in this year's Strictly Come Dancing before he sets out on his biggest tour yet in 2020.

Away from the live stage, Chris has appeared on TV hosting The Chris Ramsey Show, and Stand Up Central (Comedy Central) I’m a Celebrity: Extra Camp (ITV2) and Virtually Famous (E4), as well as performing on the Royal Variety Performance (ITV), Live at the Apollo (BBC1) and as a regular on Celebrity Juice (ITV2) and more recently on Celebrity Gogglebox (Channel 4).

Chris and his wife, Rosie, have recently launched a new podcast series - Shagged. Married. Annoyed, which has now been downloaded more than 4.5 million times.
