Chris Pratt has confirmed his relationship with Katherine Schwarzenegger with a sweet birthday tribute.
The pair are rumoured to have been dating since the summer, a year after Pratt’s high-profile split from Anna Faris, but only confirmed they were an item on Thursday as Schwarzenegger celebrated her 29th birthday.
Posting a collage of photos of the two on Instagram, Pratt, 39, wrote: “Happy Birthday Chief! Your smile lights up the room. I’ve cherished our time together.
“Thrilled God put you in my life. Thankful for the laughs, kisses, talks, hikes, love and care.”
Schwarzenegger, who is the daughter of Terminator actor Arnold, commented “I love you,” followed by three red hearts.
The pair were first linked back in July, with a source telling PEOPLE that Schwarzenegger had been introduced to Pratt by her mother Maria Shriver.
Reports in E! in October claimed they were contemplating moving in together while Us Weekly suggested in November that they “would be engaged soon”.
In 2017, Pratt split from Hollywood actress Faris after eight years of marriage, having met back on the set of Take Me Home Tonight in 2007.
In a joint statement, the couple revealed that they had “tried hard for a long time” but had decided to call time on their marriage.
They made a plea for privacy during the tough time for the sake of their son, Jack, who was born in 2012.
The statement ended: “We still have love for each other, will always cherish our time together and continue to have the deepest respect for one another.”
