On Saturday night, the Tampa Bay Rays got a dramatic walk-off win in Game 4 to tie their World Series battle against the Los Angeles Dodgers at two games apiece.
With two outs in the bottom of the ninth inning, Brett Phillips delivered a single that allowed Randy Arozarena after the Dodgers dropped the ball twice on the fateful sequence. Tampa secured an 8-7 victory and will have an opportunity to pull ahead in the World Series on Sunday night when the teams meet for a pivotal Game 5.
The NBA, it turns out, might be eyeing a return to action sooner than anyone could have predicted, so it seems that Chris Paul is enjoying what little downtime he might have before next season begins in December.
Paul was taking in Game 4 and had a reaction on Twitter after the contest was decided in dramatic fashion.

Major League Baseball has been struggling with attracting new fans over the past couple of years, with the commissioner’s office taking some proactive steps to make changes to the game in order to increase the pace of the average game. And while the tweet from Paul may seem innocent enough, him merely acknowledging it (and showing that he was watching) is a nice piece of cross-promotion for the MLB.
Truth be told, Paul was probably happy to be talking about something other than his future and whether he’s played his last game in a Thunder uniform. Most people believe he has, and if 2020-21 season does indeed end up commencing in December, then he only has limited time to enjoy non-basketball activities.
At least we know that on Saturday night, that’s exactly what he was doing.
