Chris Paul joins NBA stars to support Dwyane Wade in his final game

With the Houston Rockets off until the playoffs begin on April 13, it allows for a little downtime before players will have to rev up their engines again.

Chris Paul, for example, used the downtime to make a trip to Brooklyn to support his friend Dwyane Wade, whose legendary 16-year NBA career comes to an end Wednesday night. Paul joined LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony on the sidelines of the Barclays Center to take in the spectacle.

Paul, Wade, James and Anthony all have had well-documented friendships. The group was featured in a certain infamous banana boat picture during a 2015 vacation.

Wade will finish his career with three NBA championships, 13 All-Star appearances, a Finals MVP performance (2006) and a scoring title (2009.) He is undeniably a top four, maybe top three, shooting guard in the history of basketball and Paul showing up to support his friend is a cool sight to see.

The Rockets, unlike the Miami Heat, will head to the playoffs, which begin April 13. They do not know their opponent yet.
