Chris Paul, five ex-Thunder make NBA media panel’s All-Decade Team

Although the Oklahoma City Thunder have entered a rebuild — or are working toward one, as Thunder general manager Sam Presti puts it — the team experienced an immensely successful run in its first 11 years after moving from Seattle. The Thunder have yet to win an NBA title, but made it to the big dance and contended in other years, thanks to players like Russell Westbrook, Kevin Durant and others who have moved on.

Westbrook and Durant have been the franchise’s most accomplished players since the move to Oklahoma City, each having been named league MVP (2017 and 2014, respectively). Now the twosome, along with fellow ex-Thunder players Paul George, James Harden, Carmelo Anthony and newly acquired Oklahoma City guard Chris Paul, have each been named to one of the three NBA.com and NBA TV All-Decade Teams for the 2010s.

Both Durant and Harden received First Team honors, alongside LeBron James, Kawhi Leonard and Steph Curry.

Westbrook, Paul and Anthony made Second Team with Blake Griffin and Anthony Davis.

George rounds out OKC’s representation on Third Team. The other four featured in this unit are LaMarcus Aldridge, Dwyane Wade, Kobe Bryant and Giannis Antetokounmpo.
