Chris Paul among athletes to be featured in ESPN’s Body Issue

Back in 2012, Chris Paul was at a much different point in his career. He was starting his run with the “Lob City” Los Angeles Clippers — which never quite lived up to everyone’s expectations — and was consistently among the league leaders in assists and steals per game. He was a few years away from his 30th birthday and still at the top of his game.

Now, Paul is 34 and is in a position where he has to prove he can still make significant contributions, so the Oklahoma City Thunder can eventually shop him elsewhere and get rid of his huge contract and continue with the rebuild.

Two very different points in what has been a Hall of Fame career. Though, there is one thing that will be similar about this year and 2012.

According to Arash Markazi of the Los Angeles Times, Paul will be featured in ESPN’s Body Issue this year. Back in 2012, he was in Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit Issue.

Maybe doing something like this will get Paul in the right frame of mind for 2019-20.
