Chris Packham is still being abused over the bird shooting row but says he won’t give in.
More of the dead creatures have been strung up at the gates of his home and he continues to receive nasty letters.
He began getting death threats after his campaign led to a ban on farmers shooting “pest” birds.
Chris, 58, said his Springwatch co-star Michaela Strachan, 53, is among those checking on him. He added: “She, as ever, is supportive. She is not only a colleague but a friend. I’ve had a number of concerned messages from her.”

He said he has no intention of backing down. The threats have led to his appearance at a dog festival being axed. Dogstival chiefs feared protesters would target him at the event in the New Forest, Hants.
