Ohio State has gotten a flurry of NFL decisions as of late, and the latest has to do with wide receiver Chris Olave. Though most had him going off to greener pastures beyond college, he has surprised everyone and announced on Twitter that he is coming back to the Buckeyes for his senior season.
The news comes as guys like Justin Fields and Trey Sermon have made it known they are off to the NFL. With such little time in between the national championship game and the deadline to decide, the news is coming quickly. In fact, we’re keeping track of all of them as the news hits.
But back to Olave. Many draft experts had the 6-foot, 1-inch, 188-pounder out of San Marcos, California as a first or second-round grade, but the pull of coming back to Columbus for one more season was too great.

The return of Olave will be like a warm glass of milk for an OSU offense looking to break in a new quarterback. The combination of him, Garrett Wilson, and a whole hose of young, talented receivers should make the offense continue to hum in 2021.
