Chris Martin gets restraining order on 'delusional stalker who thinks they're dating'

Coldplay singer Chris Martin has had a restraining order granted after becoming increasingly concerned over a stalker who is said to believe she is in a relationship with him.

The musician, 42, reportedly accused the woman of suffering "delusions" after she claimed they were dating, according to The Blast.

The woman allegedly visited the outside of his home on multiple occasions, and even left him a package inside his gates.

Chris' decision to get a restraining order comes after previously calling the cops and asking his security to send her away.

He disturbingly claims she has left letters at his home referencing suicide and death.

The letters are also said to have referenced his children.

As he requested the restraining order, Chris included a statement from his security guard backing up his accusations, and extensive details of his stalker's previous criminal record.

He went on to make clear that the stalker is a complete "stranger," adding that she had made him fearful for his safety, and that of his family.

The order is said to instruct the stalker to stay 100 yards from Chris and his children Apple, 14 and Moses, 12 – who he shares with Gwyneth Paltrow.

She must also keep the same distance from his girlfriend, Fifty Shades Of Grey actress Dakota Johnson.

A court hearing will occur next month.

Mirror Online have contacted Chris' representative for comment.
