Coldplay star Chris Martin and girlfriend Dakota Johnson have obtained a restraining order against an alleged stalker who is said to be convinced she is married to Martin.

A “horrified and fearful” Martin claimed the woman has repeatedly tried to enter his Los Angeles home under the “delusion” that she lives there, according to court papers.

He said he was subjected to “continuous and incredibly distressing harassment” by the woman although he “never had any type of relationship (personal or professional) with her; he has never met nor spoken with her.”

The court papers alleged the woman went “to great lengths” to contact Martin, including driving from her home in Texas to see him. The harassment is said to have begun in April via social media, and last week the woman allegedly turned up outside the singer’s home to ring the bell at the locked gate. She is said to have returned days later and parked her car “up the street”.

She is also said to drive by the property “at all hours of the day and night” in a bid to see Martin “by any means possible”.

When Fifty Shades of Grey actress Johnson attempted to go out she fled back inside “because she was extremely fearful for her personal safety,” the court papers said.

A judge has now ordered the woman to remain 100ft from both Martin, 45, and Johnson, 33, and from their home and their car.

Martin co-parents his two children Apple and Moses with his ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow.
