Chris Maloney has finally got his smile back, after struggling to deal with his nan's death.
Chris has headed off on holiday to Egypt weeks after his beloved grandma passed away and days after he scattered her ashes.
The X Factor star revealed his Nana Pat had died back in September, as he said he was "broken" by her loss.
Writing on Twitter, Chris said: "My heart is now officially broken, my beautiful Grandmother passed away this afternoon and my life will never be the same again.
"I will never get over this hurt. RIP Mar until we meet again xx."
He added: "Thank you so much to ALL the doctors, nurse's and staff @AintreeHospital who did all they could to save my Grandmother, you did an incredible job. My sincere gratitude xx."
But now Chris, 41, has shared a series of holiday snaps to his Instagram account, saying he's also been filming for an unknown project.
Chris said: "Great few days of filming last week and I also got time to learn a few scenes from my panto script xx"
Chris shared a photo of himself by the pool with his panto script, beaming away with his trademark smile.
He also posted a series of selfies from a boat trip he looks to have enjoyed, before sharing another photo from the poolside bar.
