Chris Kane has shared his delight after extending his St Johnstone contract.
The striker recently battled back from 16 months out injured and returned for the finishing stages of last season.
He managed to get on the scoresheet in the curtain-closing Premiership fixture against Livingston by netting a late penalty after coming off the bench.
He has now penned a sixth month contract and looks forward to pre-season.
Kane has been with Saints since the age of 15 and, now 28, has played a starring role in a number of key moments in the Perth club’s recent history.
“I’m delighted to sign the extension and stay at the club I have been at since I was 15,” Kane said.
“I look forward to getting back for pre-season soon and proving my fitness.”
