Chris Kamara reveals the brilliant email he received from Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa

Chris Kamara has revealed details of the brilliant email he received from Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa.

In typical Bielsa fashion, on a day when fans are celebrating his 1,000th day in charge of the Premier League club, it's a touching gesture he made elsewhere that has taken centre stage.

Indeed, former Leeds player and current Sky Sports pundit 'Kammy' has received a personal message from the hugely-popular Argentine manager in response to his ongoing charity work.

Kamara, who briefly represented the Whites during the 1990/1991 season, become a Marie Curie football ambassador just over a decade ago and continues to raise awareness for the charity away from the microphone.

In his latest post on Twitter, the 63-year-old shared part of a touching message that Bielsa sent to him this morning.

It read: "The accompaniment of people suffering from terminal illnesses is fundamental and it is a task that requires extraordinary strength and an infinite love of neighbour."

Kamara, who played just 20 times in the league for Leeds during his 12 months at Elland Road, added a 'hands clap' emoji to the social media post, which has ultimately drawn a positive response from football fans.

@colriley79 said: "He's the gift that just keeps giving - smart man, good manager and an even better person by sounds of it."

@Ballyarthur posted: "That man never disappoints. I'd go as far as to say he's 'unbelievable'."

@JuceeRob added: "Marching on together Kammy. Through ups and downs, the Leeds United community is united in assisting and uplifting people through difficult times."

@jamesoverin said: "Thanks for sharing, Chris. Two great humans, you and Marcelo."

@emmaslufc posted: "We couldn't love him anymore. He's a beautiful human."

@RGlovebox added: "Marcelo is truly a special one and yet he would never label himself as such, which happens to be another reason that he is."
