Chris Hughton's positive outlook as Worrall impresses and Nottingham Forest fans deliver their verdict

Nottingham Forest boss Chris Hughton felt there were more “plusses” than negatives as his side held high-flying Watford to a 0-0 draw.

It ended a three-match losing run for the Reds, with Hughton particularly pleased with a clean-sheet at the City Ground.

But he felt his team should have had even more to show for their efforts, on a night when they created the better chances.

Player ratings as Worrall impreses

Here’s how Reds reporter Sarah Clapson rated the Forest players at the City Ground.

Brice Samba: A few nervy moments, but overall didn’t have a great deal to do. Was pretty well protected by those in front of him. Rating: 6/10

Cyrus Christie: Played his part in a well-deserved - and much-needed - clean-sheet for the hosts. Generally solid and looked to push forward. Rating: 7/10

Tobias Figueiredo: Seemed to benefit from having a more familiar face in Worrall alongside him. Much better from the Portuguese than in recent weeks. Rating: 7/10

Fans have their say

Nottingham Forest fans have delivered their verdict on last night's draw.

Chris Hughton’s Reds battled their way to a 0-0 draw against Watford in the Championship at the City Ground.

Forest looked the more likely to break the deadlock, with Lyle Taylor flicking a header narrowly over and almost setting up Cafu for a debut goal.

And here's what Reds fans have been saying on Twitter:

Matt Stevenson: Great performance tonight against strong opposition, need to be better at making chances though

Rob Johnstone: At least the run of defeats has ended but still few positives to take. Glad to see Worrall back, need to pair him with McKenna when fit. Ref missed a clear sending off but wouldn’t mattered if they had 7 players, we still wouldn’t have scored! No threat going forwards at all
