Chris Hughton reveals Nottingham Forest team to face Millwall

Lewis Grabban’s goalscoring antics in midweek earned him a place in the Nottingham Forest starting line-up at Millwall.

On his return from injury, the Reds striker had found the back of the net to clinch a 2-0 victory over Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday night.

And he was in the first XI at The Den as boss Chris Hughton made just one change to the team which had started against the Owls.

It meant Lyle Taylor dropped to the bench in the capital, while Tobias Figueiredo and Anthony Knockaert were also among the substitutes after completing one-match suspensions.

Loic Mbe Soh kept his place in the heart of the Forest defence, having been involved under Hughton for the first time at the City Ground.

He was once again set to partner Joe Worrall, with Cyrus Christie and Yuri Ribeiro at right and left-back respectively, ahead of goalkeeper Brice Samba.

It looked likely the visitors would stick with a 4-1-4-1 formation against the Lions, although Hughton could also deploy a 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3 system.

Samba Sow was set to take up the holding midfield role, with Ryan Yates and Cafu ahead of him.

Alex Mighten kept his place after an impressive performance in midweek, while Sammy Ameobi would be on the opposite flank, supporting lone front man Grabban.

Figueiredo took his place on the bench at the expense of Michael Dawson, and youngster Will Swan also missed out on the matchday squad.

Jordan Smith, Gaetan Bong, Carl Jenkinson, Miguel Angel Guerrero, Joe Lolley and Harry Arter completed the substitutes.

Forest: Samba, Christie, Mbe Soh, Worrall, Ribeiro, Sow, Mighten, Yates, Cafu, Ameobi, Grabban. Subs: Smith, Figueiredo, Bong, Jenkinson, Guerrero, Lolley, Knockaert, Arter, Taylor.
