Chris Hughton on his big priority at Nottingham Forest as predecessor bids fond farewell

Style of play

New boss Chris Hughton hopes to be able to combine “attractive football” with winning football at Nottingham Forest.

But he says his priority must be getting the Reds’ season up and running, after a poor start to the campaign.

Hughton’s first game in charge comes a week tomorrow, at Blackburn Rovers, after the international break.

Emotional farewell

Sabri Lamouchi says he will “never forget the magic moments” he had while in charge of Nottingham Forest.

The Frenchman was axed from his role as head coach at the City Ground earlier this week, being replaced by Chris Hughton.

It brought an end to his 15-month tenure on the banks of the Trent, after he had been appointed in June 2019.

Lamouchi led the Reds to their highest league finish for a decade last season, as they fell agonisingly short of a play-off place.

Season card update

Nottingham Forest have given an update to the fans on the options available to season ticket holders for the 2020/21 season.

Before the season, Forest season ticket holders were given two options regarding their ticket for this season, with anticipation that fans would be back in during the early part of the season.

Back involved

Chris Hughton admits he was left "a bit hoarse" after his first Nottingham Forest training session.

And he clearly couldn't have been happier!

Having been appointed at the City Ground on Tuesday evening, Hughton put his players through their paces for the first time the following day.
