Chris Hughton names his Nottingham Forest team to face Rotherham United

Chris Hughton named an unchanged starting XI for his first home game in charge of Nottingham Forest, against Rotherham United.

The Reds boss kept faith with the side which had clinched a first win of the season on Saturday, beating Blackburn Rovers 1-0 thanks to Joe Lolley’s last-minute strike.

And there was once again no place in the matchday squad for Anthony Knockaert, after his deadline day move from Fulham last Friday.

It meant Tobias Figueiredo kept his place alongside Scott McKenna in the centre of the defence, with Nicholas Ioannou and Cyrus Christie at left-back and right-back respectively, ahead of goalkeeper Brice Samba.

Jack Colback had been an injury doubt for the Championship clash after being forced off in the second half at Ewood Park, having picked up a knock.

But the midfielder got the green light to face the Millers, lining up alongside Ryan Yates in the centre of the pitch.

Lolley joined Luke Freeman and Sammy Ameobi in an attacking three in support of lone striker Lewis Grabban.

Hughton also named the same bench as against Rovers, made up of Jordan Smith, as back-up shot-stopper, Loic Mbe Soh, Carl Jenkinson, Alex Mighten, Samba Sow, Harry Arter and Lyle Taylor.

Forest: Samba, Christie, Figueiredo, McKenna, Ioannou, Yates, Colback, Lolley, Freeman, Ameobi, Grabban. Subs: Smith, Mbe Soh, Jenkinson, Mighten, Sow, Arter, Taylor.
