Chris Hughton fired a warning shot to his Nottingham Forest players after they were toppled 2-0 by Huddersfield Town.

The Reds’ four-match unbeaten run came to an end in dismal fashion amid a largely lacklustre performance at the City Ground.

After a bright start, the hosts’ intensity levels dropped and they paid the price for not making the most of their early dominance, with Aaron Rowe and Juninho Bacuna securing three points for the Terriers.

The pair were both on the books of Coventry City before Cain moved down the leagues, playing for the likes of Mansfield Town and Tamworth.

He has since become a reality TV star, appearing in shows including Ex on the Beach and The Challenge.

The 30-year-old, who is from Nuneaton, has been beset by a heart-breaking family tragedy, after his eight-month old daughter Azaylia was diagnosed with leukaemia, which can no longer be treated.
