Chris Hughes makes debut in Little Mix's Wasabi video after violent row at NTAs

Chris Hughes has certainly been a busy boy since finding fame on Love Island - and now he's branching into acting by the looks of things.

The reality star has made his small-screen debut in the music video for Little Mix's new single Wasabi, joining girlfriend Jesy Nelson and her bandmates Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock for the filming.

Chris, 27, has kept a low profile since being caught on camera having a violent bust-up with a paparazzo at January's National Television Awards, where Jesy had just won a gong for her BBC documentary on trolling.

He was heard yelling at the photographer, "Why am I a c***? Take your f**king gloves off, bruv" after the snapper allegedly muttered, "What a c***" in his direcion.

Chris then threw down his bags and screamed: "Record it if you want.

"F**k this. He has no right to call me a c***. It's not f**king fair is it. I am a nice f**king guy from the Cotswolds, I live in the countryside.

"I am no-one's c***."

But there was no sign of his anger as he appeared in the Wasabi video wearing a bright yellow puffa jacket as he rapped along with the Little Mix lyrics into the camera.

He was filmed in what seems to be a venue's corridor alongside the band's security guard, who laughs as Chris jokes around.

It comes after he begged his family and friends for forgiveness over his conduct at the NTAs.

"I want to address last night's altercation," he said in an Instagram statement the day after the awards.

"I was having an amazing night celebrating the award my girlfriend deservedly won.

"After coming out of our hotel a particular paparazzi decided to repeatedly call me a name I wouldn't call my worst enemy, and physically try and start an altercation.

"As everyone can see I retaliated back badly to this which I totally regret."

Chris added: "I'm human. No different to anyone else.

"However I want to make everyone aware this was only in self defence. I hope people I care about, including my followers, family and friends can understand and forgive me.

"This night was about Jesys win and I'm sorry if I distracted anyone from this. Ultimately, I'm the proudest boyfriend ever and want to congratulate my amazing girlfriend for a deserving win. I am so proud of you."
