Chris Hughes likes tweets calling him a 'nice guy' after NTAs brawl

Chris Hughes has returned to social media to like tweets calling him a "nice guy" after his clash with a photographer this week.

The former Love Island star, 27, was caught on camera clashing with a snapper outside a hotel in London after the glitzy NTAs ceremony.

He grappled with the man over claims he'd called him a "c***" and Chris was heard yelling repeatedly: "I'm a nice guy... I'm a nice guy from the Cotswolds."

Chris has now been back on Twitter and he's been liking tweet from fans who agree that he is indeed a "nice guy".

One of the messages stated: "Paparazzi have no right to call him a c*** and get away with it.

"I’ve never met Chris but he’s always come across as a genuine nice guy."

Another one of the tweets liked by the star declared: "I just saw the @chrishughes_22'fight' video.

"Yes, it’s wrong to fight, show violence and not the way to deal with situations but the pap clearly insulted him for NO reason and he simply asked 'why did you call me this'. Everyone has a boiling point."

In a video obtained the by Mail Online: Chris is heard on camera insisting: "I'm a nice guy from the Cotswolds. I'm not a p***y. I'm not a c**t" during the scrap.

The incident occurred in front of the lobby of the InterContinental Hotel, near the O2 Arena where the awards were held on Tuesday night.

Chris can be seen throwing his bags down in the street before launching himself at the photographer in the footage.

"Why am I a c**t? You don't know me. Tell me. You have no right. F**k this, you don't know me. You don't know me.

"Don't call someone a c**t you don't know. You don't know me, why am I?..." Chris bellows.

The enraged star went on: "I'm a nice guy from the Cotswolds. I'm a nice guy. Bruv I'm a nice guy."

Chris has since apologised for his behaviour.

He wrote on Instagram: "I want to address last night's altercation. I was having an amazing night celebrating the award my girlfriend deservedly won...

"After coming out of our hotel a particular paparazzi decided to repeatedly call me a name I wouldn't call my worst enemy, and physically try and start an altercation. As everyone can see I retaliated back badly - which I regret...

"I'm human. No different to anyone else's however I want to make everyone aware this was only in self defense. I hope people I care about including my followers, family and friends can understand and forgive me.
