Chris Hubbard returns to practice, expected to be a game-time decision

Another of the walking wounded Cleveland Browns returned to practice on Thursday. Starting right tackle Chris Hubbard was back on the practice field in Berea and a full participant as the team gets ready for Sunday’s game against the rival Baltimore Ravens.

Hubbard missed Week 3 with a foot injury he suffered in the Week 2 win over the New York Jets. With backup Kendall Lamm also out – and still out from practice — with a knee injury, reserve guard Justin McCray was forced into the starting lineup at tackle.

Hubbard’s return doesn’t necessarily mean he will play against the Ravens. Freddie Kitchens was asked about it in his coach’s press conference on Thursday.

“I don’t know yet if he’s going to,” Kitchens said of Hubbard playing on Sunday. “But he did show some progress, so that’s a good sign. We will build him up tomorrow and see how he is tomorrow, but he’ll probably be a game-time decision.”
