Chris Hemsworth's wife Elsa Pataky admits their marriage 'isn't perfect' and 'requires effort'

Chris Hemsworth 's wife Elsa Pataky may be envied by women around the world, but she's admitted her marriage to the star "isn't perfect".

The Spanish actress, who married the Thor star in 2010, says their relationship takes "a lot of effort" and admitted that they sometimes feel like "horrible parents" to their three children.

Elsa, 43, told WHO magazine : "Nothing is as easy and perfect as it looks... There are those moments where you fight. You have to put a lot of effort into [your marriage]."

Elsa and her husband, 36, moved to Byron Bay in Australia in 2014 after living together for several years in Los Angeles.

They now live in a $20 million mansion with their daughter India Rose, seven, and twin sons Tristan and Sasha, five.

Elsa said that despite their very lavish life, she and her husband have ups and downs just like any other married couple.

She said: "We have those moments where we shout at the kids and then we feel like horrible parents and we have to work at being a couple like everyone else."

And the busy actors sometimes feel "guilty" for not being present enough for their children.

Elsa said: "As much effort as you put into your work, you have to put into your marriage and into being a dad and a mum. And it's constant work."

Recently, Miley Cyrus was said to be hurt after Elsa said she wasn't good enough for her brother-in-law Liam Hemsworth.

Elsa insisted Chris' brother deserved better than Miley following their very public split.

And sources close to Miley, who was once so close to Elsa they got matching tattoos, say she was hurt.

A source told Woman's Day : "Elsa saying she wasn't good enough for Liam will hurt her hard."
