You probably wouldn't imagine a Love Island contestant and a Chuckle Brother would ever share the same stage but that is exactly what will happen at a Sunderland nightclub next month.
While its hard to accept that summer is nearly over, the calendar doesn't lie and with us now well into August it's time to face facts.
But before the countdown to Christmas starts, it will be time for a huge influx of students into the region when all of the North East's universities begin their new academic year.
And if you've ever been to uni, you'll know that one of the most important events of your uni life is Freshers' Week.
Last month it was announced that Love Island's own Irish firecracker in Newcastle and now it's been confirmed that another Love Island contestant will be appearing just down the road.
Chris Taylor, who split from Geordie girl Harley Brash at the weekend, will appear at a huge Freshers event at Sunderland club Illusions/Detroit on Monday, September 16 as new students arrives at University of Sunderland.
And he'll be joined by Paul Chuckle and an ABBA tribute act.
Revealing all on Facebook, Illusions posted "Looking forward to Monday 16th September, Meet, greet and Party with Chris ( Love Island ) Paul Chuckle and special guests Abba Tribute.
"Sunderland freshers, a party where everyone is invited."
