He is the irreverent breakfast DJ known for stirring his BBC Radio 2 listeners to life every weekday morning. Now Chris Evans has taken his professional pursuit to the genteel countryside of Hampshire. Petrolhead Evans hosted a car festival in Laverstoke Park at the weekend, featuring performances from bands including Razorlight and Texas, and a daring display by two Royal Navy helicopters. But his neighbours were not so thrilled. The Daily Telegraph reports that "genteel countryfolk" around Laverstoke Park have complained about noise levels from the 20,000-strong festival. Turn it up to 11, Chris.
