Chris Evans and wife Natasha Shishmanian SHOCKED as they wake up to find maggots in their bed

Chris Evans and wife Natasha Shishmanian were left horrified after they woke to find maggots in their bed.

The Virgin Radio presenter told how the pair couldn’t believe the insects had been living in their mattress and were forced to call pest control.

Explaining the news on his breakfast show, Evans revealed their pest controller said: “I think they’re bluebottle maggots.

“Where’s the loft hatch, is it over your bed? Think there’s something dead in your loft.”

An embarrassed Evans defended himself, saying: “They didn’t come from me!”

Pest control confirmed a dead mouse in their loft was the culprit behind the creepy infestation.

Chris Evans leaves Virgin Radio with his wife after his first show

Last month, Evans launched his brand new breakfast show and was praised for the move after he jumped ship from his BBC Radio 2 slot, which he handed over to Zoe Ball.

During his first show, Evans thanked listeners for sticking with him admitting he feels “blessed and couldn’t be more grateful.”

The show went down a hit with fans, with many left admitting how much they “missed” hearing the radio veteran on air.

He also revealed how Ball had contacted him ahead of his show launch with a message of support for his new move.

The Chris Evans Breakfast show with Sky is on at 6:30am on Virgin Radio
