Chris Eubank Jr has vowed to make his mark as he heads Stateside for the first time in his career for an interim WBA middleweight title shot on December 7.
Eubank Jr will move back down in weight to take on Matt Korobov at the Barclay's Center in Brooklyn, fresh off the back of his impressive win over James DeGale at super-middlweight in February.
Russian ace Korobov, 36, impressed as a late replacement to take on world champion Jermall Charlo last year, losing a close decision.
The tricky southpaw will now take on Eubank Jr in the co-main event to Charlo's WBC world title defence against Dennis Hogan.
Eubank Jr will now do something his legendary father never did during his glittering career by heading to the other side of the Atlantic.
And he has promised to put on a show at what he claims is his best weight class on his return to the country where he made waves as an amateur.
"I'm ready to take the United States and the middleweight division by storm," said Eubank.
"I'm excited to come down to 160 pounds where I naturally belong, and I don't see anybody being able to touch me at this weight class.
"America is where I learned how to fight as an amateur in Las Vegas and 13 years later I'm finally going to make my U.S. professional debut.
"I can't wait to show the fans in the U.S. that I'm the best middleweight in the world."
Opponent Korobov, who has a 28-2-1 record and was beaten by Irishman Andy Lee in a middleweight title fight in 2014, stated he is more motivated than ever.
"I am more motivated for this fight than any other so far in my career," said Korobov.
"Against Jermall Charlo, I didn't get the decision. In my mind, I won that fight at Barclays Center.
"This time around, I will leave no doubt against Eubank.
"This opportunity gives me a chance to right a wrong. Fans will see the best Matt Korobov on December 7."
