Chris Carson logs impressive first half for Seattle in Arizona Week 4

Seattle Seahawks running back Chris Carson has something to prove Week 4 against the Arizona Cardinals and so far he is off to an impressive start.

Carson currently leads the league in fumbles lost by a rusher with three on the season after having fumbled once in each of his last three games.

Despite the ball-safety concerns, coach Pete Carroll said he would stick by his running back and has remained true to his word. Carson got the start Sunday in Arizona and shows no sign of slowing down.

“You will not see me waver in my support for Chris and belief in the guy as a football player,” Carroll said Wednesday. “That’s been the conversation here and really the only message he needs to hear from me and he’s heard it from his teammates as well so we’re expecting him to tear it up.”

Through the first half, Carson has posted 10 carries for 54 yards with a long of 11. Until the final minutes of the second quarter, Carson was the only Seattle ball carrier to have logged a touch in the game.

The Seahawks lead the Cardinals 20-3 at halftime in Arizona.
