Chris Burke has been rewarded for his role in Kilmarnock ’s resurgence by being handed a new one-year-deal.
The 35-year-old former Scotland winger has agreed a contract which will extend his stay in Ayrshire until the summer of 2020.
Burke has become a key part of Steve Clarke ’s side since arriving in 2017 after a short spell with Ross County and has been pivotal in the achievement of back-to-back top six finishes.
The news follows Alan Power signing a contract extension.
Irish midfielder Power put pen to paper on a new three-year deal after impressing this season.
Clarke’s side are homing in on a place in Europe after their 5-0 win over Hamilton on Saturday saw Killie leapfrog Aberdeen into second spot in the Premiership .
