Rapper Chris Brown has attracted his fair share of controversy - including a recent head tattoo and trying to get President Obama to help him get out of the Philippines - but his latest interview is less controversial and more confusing.

Brown did an interview for Us Weekly’s “25 Things You Don’t Know About Me” feature, and alongside slightly mundane facts like the fact he loves dancing with his fifteen-month daughter and he’s a very tidy person, he reveals that he owns 14 Burger King restaurants.

Burger King’s corporate website says that in order to start a franchise, an individual needs to have a net worth of at least $1.5 million and $500,000 in liquid assets to qualify as a franchisee.

According to Forbes, celebrity franchises of popular brands are seen as a safer alternative for A-listers than launching their own restaurant, which might require more expertise.

They note that Venus Williams owns a number of Jamba Juice bars, rapper Rick Ross has a stake in Wingstop, a branch of chicken wing restaurants, and Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning owns 21 Papa John’s takeaways in and around Denver.

In Manning’s case, by offering deals like half-price pizzas when his team wins a game, he has pushed sales by up to 30%.

Still, don’t expect Brown to swing by for a Whopper. According to the interview, he doesn’t eat beef or pork.
