Chris Brown arrested after Florida concert, posts $2,000 cash bail and is released

Chris Brown was arrested by local authorities after a concert in West Palm Beach, Fla., late Thursday, jail records show.

The controversial singer was taken into around custody by Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office deputies for an outstanding warrant around 11 p.m., according to those records, just after his Coral Sky Amphitheatre show wrapped up.

Hilllsborough County Sheriff's Office issued the warrant for battery, WPTV-TV reported. Brown posted a $2,000 cash bail and was released nearly an hour later.

Brown, 29, has a lengthy legal history, including a domestic violence arrest in 2009 after beating up then-girlfriend Rihanna, a 2013 hit-and-run and a 2016 arrest for assault with a deadly weapon.

Brown has stayed out of the news for the most part recently, but just dropped more than $350,000 on a bulletproof SUV.

He's currently in the middle of his Heartbreak On A Full Moon Tour, which is scheduled to continue through early August.

A rep for Brown did not immediately return a request for comment.
