Chris Broussard fires back at Warriors’ Kevin Durant on Twitter

Despite not being on the floor due to a calf strain, Golden State Warriors scoring machine Kevin Durant has been in the news lately and has been on social media mixing it up with Fox Sports 1’s Chris Broussard.

First, Broussard on the television show “Undisputed” questioned Durant’s legacy if the Warriors, who swept the Portland Trail Blazers in the Western Conference Finals without him, were to win a title this season without him. Durant then fired back on Twitter to defend himself and that has now set off a chain reaction.

Broussard then went on the show again and said that he and Durant text each other and go back-and-forth for hours. The Warriors superstar again then took to Twitter to deny all of it.

With his credibility questioned, Broussard then made a video explaining his side of the story from his vehicle. He mentioned that he has more than 60 direct messages from Durant on Twitter and Instagram since February of 2018 and that he initiated the conversations.

In the meantime, the Warriors hope to have Durant back for Game 1 of the NBA Finals on May 30 when they travel to either Milwaukee or Toronto to go for a three-peat. The Bucks and the Raptors are currently in a 2-2 series tie.
