The text messages exchanged on the fateful day Chris Watts killed his pregnant wife Shanann and their two daughters have been revealed.
American Murder: The Family Next Door begins streaming on Netflix on Wednesday.
The gripping true story focuses on the harrowing slaughter of the family and the shocking aftermath.
The murder in 2018 stunned America - and the new series is sure to be difficult viewing.
Netflix bill the show as: "Using raw, firsthand footage, this documentary examines the disappearance of Shanann Watts and her children, and the terrible events that followed."
In the build up to its launch, the final text message exchanged between the couple have been released by People.
The couple messaged about groceries - and their dinner plans - before things took a horrifying twist.
"What kind of vegetables do you want with dinner tonight?" Shanann texted evil Watts.
"Broccoli works," he replied. "Green beans work, too."
The texts revealed that Shanann had no idea that her husband would soon kill her.
"Finally on plane and about to take off," she wrote in her last message to him. ″Thank God! Prayers for a safe flight. Love you!"
Her husband did not respond.
His wife Shannan was 15 weeks pregnant at the time of her death over two years ago.
On August 13 2018, he strangled the mother, 34, in their Colorado home.
He then killed their daughters Bella, 4, and Celeste, 3, at his work place.
The killer was was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
Last years, a source told People that Watts had found religion in prison - and that he reflects on his 'sins' on a daily basis.
“A day doesn’t go by, a minute doesn’t go by, where he doesn’t think about his family,” the source said.
"He's in a hell of his own making."
