Chris and Rosie Ramsey will host a brand new BBC comedy entertainment series.
Following on from the huge success of their award-winning podcast Sh***ed.Married.Annoyed, the husband and wife duo are set to bring The Chris & Rosie Ramsey Show to BBC Two next year.
The South Shields couple revealed the news during an interview on The One Show on Wednesday (November 10).
They were live in the London studio when Rosie Ramsey excitedly announced: "Next year Chris and I are doing our own TV show on the BBC!"
Fans of the hit podcast - which has almost 90 million downloads worldwide to date - instantly took to social media to congratulate the pair.
They said it was 'amazing' and they 'can't wait to watch' the new show when it airs in 2022.
Rosie later posted a photo of her and Chris's faces on a classic 90s' style TV screen to her 823k Instagram followers.
The post read: "We're as shocked as you are let's be truthful here... Catch us on't the BBC next year!! Buzzing"
Comedian Chris Ramsey posted on Twitter on Thursday morning (November 11) to thank fans for all the 'lovely comments'.
"Thanks for all the lovely comments and messages about the TV show," he posted: "We really appreciate it. We had no idea this little podcast would go so crazy. Tour, book, TV show. Nuts.
"We celebrated by drinking half a bottle of little wine and falling asleep at 9:30pm in the hotel."
The brand new six-part BBC series is from the makers of Taskmaster and Spitting Image, Avalon.
It will see the hysterically honest pair being joined each week by another celebrity couple.
They will poke fun at life; growing up, relationships, arguments, annoyances, parenting and everything in between and of course they’ll be asking... What’s Your Beef?
The Chris & Rosie Ramsey Show will launch on BBC Two and BBC iPlayer in 2022.
