Hearts have had some fantastic players take to the field at Tynecastle in the last two decades.
Quite a number of those to have pulled on the maroon shirt since the turn of the century have gone on to secure 'icon' status at the Gorgie club.
And all of that makes choosing an ultimate Hearts XI of the 21st century even more tricky.
To make things slightly easier, we've whittled the numbers down so there's a pool of 29 players to choose from – your virtual dressing room, if you will.

In our team we opted for Craig Gordon in goal
In defence we've got a solid looking line-up of Paterson, Pressley, Neilson and Fyssas. We reckon this gives us the perfect mix of experience and leadership, along with attacking intent from full-back.
We went for a midfield three of Hartley, Skacel and Aguiar, with Naismith, Jankauskas and Bednar in attack.
We reckon that's a pretty formidable outfit, but no doubt many of you will disagree with our choices. Have your say below.
